John Panchery has joined Readiness Associates, a Portland-based international consulting firm. RA acts as a full-service business continuity and emergency preparedness partner, as Chief Strategist, Client Engagement.
With a strong financial background involving risk management with regard to standards-based consulting, Panchery has served as a program manager for Continuity Dynamics, Inc. (CDI) of Basking Ridge, New Jersey, for the past six years. Readiness Associates acquired CDI in May 2020.
Panchery has been personally responsible for major financial industry-wide international risk management projects. These initiatives required the coordinated efforts of federal, state and local authorities in cooperation with hundreds of corporations from the private sector. Recently, Panchery built corporate business continuity solutions based on international standards (ISO) and the recommendations of the Federal Emergency Management Administration, the Department of Homeland Security, The American Red Cross and others. He has excellent “C- level” interaction skills and understands the entire risk management-based environment with emphasis on supply chain, succession planning, resiliency and compliance. He has often been called upon to act as an intermediary liaison between technology development and operational usability.
A member of several national risk management organizations, Panchery has been a speaker/contributor for many of their events.
